The Custom Lipid Array Strip comes with 7 concentrations of the lipid of your choice and a no lipid control spotted onto a 1.25 cm x 6 cm hydrophobic membrane. For example: 100pmol, 50, 25, 12.5, 6.25, 3.13, 1.56, 0. These strips are used to determine lipid-protein interactions, through a simple protein-lipid overlay experiment.
Briefly, once the membrane is blocked, it is incubated with your protein of interest. The membrane is then washed and incubated with an HRP labeled antibody against the protein or your proteins affinity tag. The membrane is washed again before incubation with ECL or a precipitating TMB detection reagent. This can then be visualized with the appropriate equipment based on the detection reagent used.
Minimum order of 30 strips is required. Because this is a custom order, it will take 2-3 weeks to be fulfilled. Pricing is based on the lipids we spot. Please call 801-588-0455 for a quote. The price listed is the minimum price and the number of strips.
