Beta amyloid (1-42) is the predominant form of β-amyloid protein found in the brains of patients with Alzheimer′s disease and Down′s syndrome. Beta Amyloid (1-42), human (Arctic) [Gly22] contains the Gly22 ‘Arctic’ mutation, which causes early onset of Alzheimer′s compared to wild type Beta amyloid (1-42).
