304O13 is a biodegradable ionizable lipid that can be formulated into lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivery of RNA. LNPs containing 304O13 delivered Factor VII siRNA (0.01 mg kg-1) in a mouse model resulting in suppressed Factor VII levels for 18 days. 304O13 LNPs primarily accumulated in the liver and demonstrated an improved toxicity profile when compared to the non-degradable lipid C12-200.
