Rabbit polyclonal antibody. This antibody recognizes the cytoplasm C-terminus of the human lipid phosphate phosphatases 3 (LPP-3). LPPs are integral membrane proteins which have board substrate specificity in dephosphorylating polar lipid signaling molecules within and outside the cell including phosphatidic acid, sphingosine 1-phosphate, lysophosphatidic acid and ceramide 1-phosphate. Research shows the LPP3 isoform has specific function in reducing the intracellular S1P levels.
