GloPIPs BODIPY FL Phosphatidylinositol(3,4) bisphosphate , also known as: BODIPY FL PtdIns(3,4)P2 or BODIPY FL PI(3,4)P2

Echelon's GloPIPsTM are labeled at the sn-1 position with BODIPYŽ-FL (505/513), BODIPYŽ-TMR (544/574), or biotin. Each is available with hexanoyl (six carbon chain) at the sn-2 position and some are available with palmitoyl (sixteen carbon chain). These compounds are intended to replace our previous line of labeled phosphoinositides, the primary difference being that the sn-1 linkage has been changed to a more stable amide from an ester. Results from experiments conducted at Echelon indicated that this minor chemical change did not have a significant effect in any of the applications tested. If you are interested in a product that is not listed please contact one of our scientists to discuss custom synthesis options ( echelon@echelon-inc.com).
